I normally don’t update the Dominican Summer League stats, but the DSL Yankees had a 19-run inning (!!!) today. Here’s the box score and here’s the play-by-play. Pretty fun.

- CF Mason Williams: 0-3, 1 BB
- 3B Miguel Andujar: 1-4, 1 R, 1 K
- LF Billy McKinney: 0-2, 1 BB, 1 K — 5-for-27 (.185) in his last seven games … my guess is he is entering his final weekend with the Yankees … seems like a serious candidate to be the second or (more likely) third piece in a trade
- DH Ji-Man Choi: 0-1, 2 BB, 1 K — first game since being dropped from the 40-man roster
- RHP Bryan Mitchell: 6 IP, 7 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 7 K, 1 WP, 6/3 GB/FB — 63 of 95 pitches were strikes (66%) … 2.12 ERA with 29/5 K/BB in his last five starts and 23.2 innings down here

- SS Gosuke Katoh: 3-5, 2 R, 1 RBI

- LF Alex Palma: 2-5, 1 R, 2 RBI — threw a runner out at home, because that’s what he does
- RHP Erik Swanson: 7 IP, 8 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 0 BB, 6 K, 6/3 GB/FB — 60 of 96 pitches were strikes (63%) … only the third time in 14 starts this year that he allowed more than two earned runs

- 3B Oswaldo Cabrera: 2-3, 1 R
- RHP Freicer Perez: 5 IP, 1 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 4 BB, 3 K, 1 WP, 1 HB, 7/1 GB/FB — 48 of 80 pitches were strikes (60%) … 15/11 K/B in his last three starts and 15.1 innings after 22/0 K/BB in his previous three starts and 19 innings
Short Season Staten Island (5-2 loss to Tri-City, walk-off style) never fun to be on the wrong end of a walk-off grand slam
- SS Wilkerman Garcia: 0-3, 1 RBI, 3 K
- DH Leonardo Molina: 2-4, 2 K
- CF Dom Thompson-Williams: 2-3, 2 R, 1 BB, 1 K

Rookie Pulaski was rained out. They’re going to play a doubleheader tomorrow

- CF Robert Javier: 0-2, 1 BB, 1 HBP, 1 SB

Rookie GCL Yanks West (7-2 loss to GCL Blue Jays)
- CF Evan Alexander: 2-4, 1 K

- DH Gustavo Campero: 0-4, 2 K
- 1B Miguel Flames: 1-4, 2 K
- RF Juan De Leon: 1-4, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 2 K — 19-year-old is up to .286/.423/.429 in 18 games
- RHP Nolan Martinez: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K, 1/0 GB/FB — season debut for last year’s third rounder … starting a GCL game and throwing one inning combined with the late start the season strongly suggests he’s working his way back from an injury
