Wednesday Night Open Thread

Putting the wild in Wild Card: Granite's miscue aids Yankees
Sonny Gray, CC Sabathia will start first two games of ALDS

You all doing okay out there? That was a hell of a game last night. I still felt the high from that win when I woke up this morning. Hell, I still feel it right now. Not complaining though. I love it. Anyway, make sure you check out Jeff Passan on the bullpen and the great Roger Angell on Sir Didi Gregorius. That is some high qualify off-day readin’.

Here is an open thread for this Yankees baseball-less night. Enjoy it, because when the ALDS begins tomorrow, that inescapable nervousness will return. The Diamondbacks and Rockies are playing the NL Wild Card Game tonight (8pm ET on TBS), plus the NHL regular season begins. Hooray for that. NBCSN will have two games, though none of the local teams are in action. Talk about anything except religion or politics right here.

Quiz!: The annual name everyone who played for the Yankees this season quiz is out. I got 49 of 51. Missed two pitchers, one of whom was on the Opening Day roster. The other was an up-and-down guy.
