Let’s start with two quick notes:
- RHP Chance Adams placed fifth in this week’s Prospect Hot Sheet. “Adams had surgery to remove a bone spur in his right elbow during the offseason and had looked understandably rusty in the early part of the year. The rust appeared to come off in his last start, a dominant, 10-strikeout outing,” says the write-up.
- RHP Erik Swanson’s promotion to Triple-A Scranton is official. The team announced it today. Swanson’s been great so far this season. RHP Brody Koerner was sent down to Double-A Trenton to clear a roster spot.
