The Yankees had two players on their roster that had played every inning of every game this season, at least until Robinson Cano bruised his hand on Sunday. That left Nick Swisher as the lone iron man, but that will change tonight: the right fielder is getting the day off after driving in the go-ahead run in yesterday’s game. If you’re going to sacrifice offense (not that Nick has been hitting especially well), CC Sabathia starts are a good time to do it. You just don’t expect the big guy to give up many runs.
