RHP Domingo Acevedo landed in the ninth spot on this week’s Prospect Hot Sheet. He struck out 13 and allowed three hits in eleven innings this week. Pretty, pretty good.

- RF Aaron Judge: 2-4, 1 R, 1 2B, 1 RBI
- CF Slade Heathcott: 1-4, 1 R, 1 3B, 2 RBI, 1 K — whacked the go-ahead two-run triple in the top of the seventh in his first game back from a hand injury
- C Gary Sanchez: 1-3, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 1 BB
- 1B Nick Swisher: 1-4, 2 K
- DH Rob Refsnyder: 1-4, 1 R, 1 K
- RHP Kyle Haynes: 4.2 IP, 1 H, 4 R, 2 ER, 5 BB, 3 K, 6/5 GB/FB — 49 of 91 pitches were strikes (54%) … weird pitching line
- RHP Conor Mullee: 1 IP, zeroes, 1 K, 1/1 GB/FB — eight of 13 pitches were strikes (62%) … 15/1 K/BB in 10.1 innings for the three-time Tommy John surgery guy
Triple-A Scranton Game Two (10-2 win over Rochester in seven innings)
- CF Ben Gamel: 1-4, 1 R, 1 RBI
- RF Aaron Judge: 1-3, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 BB, 1 K – nice doubleheader for him
- DH Slade Heathcott: 1-3, 2 RBI, 1 K
- 3B Rob Refsnyder: 2-3, 2 R, 1 BB — hopefully this means his bat is starting to come alive … he’s been slumping hard all year so far
- LHP Phil Coke: 5 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 7 K, 1 WP, 5/3 GB/FB — 46 of 72 pitches were strikes (64%)
Double-A Trenton (8-4 win over Erie)
- 2B Tyler Wade: 2-5, 2 R, 1 E (fielding) — had been in a 6-for-34 (.176) slump

- CF Dustin Fowler: 3-5, 1 R, 1 2B, 3 RBI, 1 K, 1 CS — had been in a 3-for-31 (.097) slump
- 1B Tyler Austin: 2-5, 1 R, 1 2B, 2 RBI, 1 K
- RF Lane Adams: 1-4, 1 R, 1 K, 1 SB — so I guess he’s back down here now … makes sense with Heathcott and OF Cesar Puello now healthy
- LHP Jordan Montgomery: 5 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 1 BB, 5 K, 6/3 GB/FB — 62 of 95 pitches were strikes (65%)
- RHP Matt Wotherspoon: 4 IP, zeroes, 8 K, 2/1 GB/FB — 32 of 47 pitches were strikes (68%) … 21/6 K/BB in 17 innings for the 2014 34th rounder
High-A Tampa‘s game was moved to tomorrow because there is a Beyonce concert at Raymond James Stadium across the street tonight. Not quite as silly as the time they had a game cancelled because of a circus tent, but still silly. Anyway, there’s a doubleheader tomorrow.
Low-A Charleston (5-0 win over Delmarva)
- CF Jeff Hendrix: 2-5, 1 R
- SS Hoy Jun Park: 1-5, 1 K — 30.0% strikeout rate in his last ten games
- 2B Thairo Estrada: 0-4, 1 BB
- RF Jhalan Jackson: 0-1, 2 R, 3 BB — he had five walks total in the first 18 games of the season
- 3B Angel Aguilar: 1-4, 2 RBI, 1 K
- RHP Yefrey Ramirez: 4 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 2 K, 1 Balk, 3/6 GB/FB — 39 of 60 pitches were strikes (65%) … he was a minor league Rule 5 Draft pick over the winter
