After a night of suspense, Alex Rodriguez and the Yankees announced earlier today that A-Rod will play his final game next Friday before joining the front office. It’s a sad day — at least I think it is — even though the Yankees are clearly better off moving on at this point. Only five more games in the A-Rod era. Crazy. Go win a damn game for the guy.
