The Yankees called up RHP David Hale earlier today and, as Conor Foley notes, he was Tuesday’s scheduled starter for Triple-A Scranton. LHP Justus Sheffield is Tuesday’s scheduled starter for Double-A Trenton. Hmmm. Wonder if a promotion, even a temporary one, is in the cards. We’ll see.
