I’ve had a number of folks ask where they can get their DotF fix once RAB shuts down. I recommend MLB.com’s Prospect Pipeline page. Scroll down, pick the Yankees, and they have the day’s box scores all on one page. There are no player comments like DotF, but all the stats are there.

- 1B Mike Ford: 3-5, 3 R, 3 HR, 4 RBI — Gary Sanchez wasn’t the only player in the organization with a three-homer game today … this isn’t Ford’s first three-homer game either, he had a four-homer game a few years back
- SS Thairo Estrada: 0-5, 2 K — due to the call-up and send down, this was his first game of the season

Double-A Trenton Thunder (16-5 loss to Erie)

- SS Kyle Holder: 1-5, 1 RBI
- 2B Brandon Wagner: 0-4, 2 K, 1 E (fielding) — 0-for-9 with three walks in the early going
- CF Rashad Crawford: 2-4, 1 RBI — 5-for-15 (.333) through four games
- 3B Wendell Rijo: 2-4, 2 R, 2 HR, 2 RBI — only his third career two-homer game in 546 career games … the Yankees got him from the Brewers in the Erik Kratz trade last year
- RHP Albert Abreu: 4 IP, 5 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 3 BB, 1 K, 1 HR, 1 WP, 1 HB, 2/4 GB/FB — 49 of 79 pitches were strikes (62%) … rough first start of the season
- RHP Jose Mesa: 1.2 IP, 4 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 3 BB, 1 K, 2/1 GB/FB — 25 of 50 pitches were strikes
High-A Tampa Tarpons (3-2 win over Lakeland, walk-off style)
- CF Pablo Olivares: 0-4, 1 K
- 2B Diego Castillo: 0-3, 1 RBI — 0-for-12 on the young season
- SS Oswaldo Cabrera: 1-3, 1 R, 1 BB, 2 K, 1 SB

- LHP CC Sabathia: 4.2 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 6 K, 4/2 GB/FB — 40 of 62 pitches were strikes (65%) … here’s some video of his outing … this is expected to be his only rehab outing, so he’s set up to throw 80 pitches or so when he joins the rotation next weekend

- CF Brandon Lockridge: 2-4, 2 R, 1 HR, 1 RBI, 1 BB, 1 K, 1 SB — first hits of the season for last year’s fifth rounder
- CF Isaiah Pasteur: 0-5, 1 R, 2 K
- RF Josh Stowers: 1-4, 1 R, 1 BB, 2 K — 5-for-14 (.357) with four walks and four strikeouts through four games
- 2B Kyle Gray: 1-4, 1 K
- RHP Luis Gil: 3.1 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 4 BB, 6 K, 2/0 GB/FB — 43 of 75 pitches were strikes (57%) … 20-year-old had a 15.4% walk rate last year, so games like this aren’t uncommon
