Triple-A Scranton had a scheduled off day.

Double-A Trenton (7-4 win over Connecticut)
Brett Gardner: 2 for 4, 2 R, 1 RBI, 1 CS – 4 multi-hit games in his 6 contests back from the DL
Cody Ehlers: 1 for 3, 3 RBI
Noah Hall & PJ Pilittere: both 2 for 4, 1 R, 1 K – Hall doubled and had a steak
Matt Carson: 1 for 4, 1 2B, 2 RBI, 2 K – picked off second
Justin Christian: 2 for 4, 1 K – only 15 SB this year after 68 last year
Alan Horne: 7 IP, 8 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 6 K, 4-8 GB/FB – have to love that he’s gone at least 6 innings in 8 of his 13 starts

High-A Tampa
Game 1
(3-1 win over Lakeland in 7 innings) makeup for a June 1st rainout
Reegie Corona: 1 for 4, 1 R, 1 3B, 1 K, 1 E (fielding) – first XBH in 8 games
Colin Curtis: 1 for 2, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 BB
Jose Tabata: 1 for 3, 1 R
Juan Miranda: 0 for 1, 1 RBI (sac fly), 1 BB
Marcos Vechionacci: 1 for 3, 1 RBI
Frankie Cervelli: 1 for 2, 1 HBP, 1 PB – 1 for his last 18, but the guy is a HBP machine (that’s 12 in 52 games this year)
George Kontos: 4 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 6 K, 3-3 Gb/FB – told ya he’d be back this week
Game 2 (6-3 win over Lakeland in 7 innings)
Colin Curtis: 1 for 4, 1 E (throwing)
Jose Tabata: 1 for 4, 1 R, 1 K
Juan Miranda: 2 for 2, 1 R, 1 2B, 2 RBI, 1 BB, 1 HBP – .394-.490-.684-1.174 in June
Marcos Vechionacci & Jimmy Cooper: both 1 for 4, 1 R, 1 3B, 1 RBI – Cooper K’ed once
Tim Battle: 1 for 4, 1 R, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 1 K – on pace for 200+ K’s
Anthony Clagget: 3.1 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 4 K
Eric Wordekemper: 1.2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K – he’s doing the job this year, but last year he was simply dominant

Low-A Charleston (5-1 loss to Savannah)
Hit Streak Hilligoss: 0 for 4 – 8 game streak ended, and his 38 gamer isn’t even the longest in the minors this year anymore
Austin Jackson: 0 for 4, 2 K
Chris Malec: 3 for 3, 1 RBI, 1 HBP
Seth Fortenberry, Brian Aragon & Eduardo Nunez: all 0 for 4, 1 K – Aragon made a throwing error
Josue Calzado: 1 for 3, 1 BB, 2 K
Kevin Smith: 1 for 3, 1 R, 1 2B
Ivan Nova: 7 IP, 11 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 0 BB, 2 K, 12-7 GB/FB
Jesse Hoover: 2 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 2 K, 4-0 GB/FB – I’ve been waiting for over 2 loooooooong years for this guy to get back on the mound…I can’t wait for him to settle back into his usual 0.97 WHIP, 14.55 Kper9 groove…
