Derek back at the top of the lineup, Gardner relegated to 8th. Don’t understand why against righties they just don’t move everyone down a spot. Swisher would hit 7th and that would be one hell of a 1-7 to get through.

Burnett will get another chance to stink it up Friday in Baltimore.

Not sure about the rush to restore A-Rod to clean-up. It would not hurt to insert him a bit lower in the line-up for a few games, with the clear promise that as soon as he regains his game timing he goes back to hitting fourth.

Totally agree with Captain Beatty. But we’ve got stupid, fragile egos here. Gardner and Granderson can be moved around in the order because they’re not selfish. But dropping Jeter or A-Rod is out of the question for political reasons.

They should bounce AJ to bullpen or skip him once through. Do the right thing for team font just leave him in rotation bc of his ego or how much he makes $$.
