According to Joe Girardi, UTIL Ronnie Mustelier (bruise) will return to Triple-A Scranton and play tomorrow. He’s been playing rehab games in Extended Spring Training and was supposed to play for High-A Tampa yesterday before it rained. Mustelier could (should) be a big league option after getting a few days work of at-bats just to get up to speed.
Triple-A Scranton had a scheduled off-day.
Double-A Trenton (2-1 loss to New Hampshire)

- C J.R. Murphy: 0-3, 1 BB, 1 E (missed catch)
- CF Slade Heathcott: 0-3, 1 R, 1 BB — threw a runner out at the plate
- RHP Jose Ramirez: 5 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 6 K, 1 HB, 5/2 GB/FB — 51 of 76 pitches were strikes (67%) … first start of the year and it was a dandy

High-A Tampa Game One (7-3 win over St. Lucie) completion of yesterday’s game, which was suspended due to rain with one out in the top of the second inning
- CF Mason Williams: 2-3, 2 R, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 1 BB, 1 SB — 18 walks and 17 strikeouts in 23 games
- DH Rob Refsnyder: 1-4, 1 R, 1 K, 1 SB

- RHP Bryan Mitchell: 6 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 4 BB, 3 K, 7/4 GB/FB
High-A Tampa Game Two was rained out. The game was cancelled and will not be made up.
Low-A Charleston (4-3 loss to Lakewood)
- CF Jake Cave & SS Cito Culver: both 0-5 — Cave struck out once, Culver four times
- DH Greg Bird: 2-3, 1 R, 1 2B, 1 BB
- 3B Dante Bichette Jr.: 1-4, 1 K — five hits in his last 17 at-bats (.294)
- C Peter O’Brien: 0-4
- LHP Evan Rutckyj: 3.1 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 6 BB, 2 K, 6/0 GB/FB — 13 strikeouts and 14 walks in 19 innings
- RHP Jose Campos: 3 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 7 K, 1/1 GB/FB — he and Rutckyj flip-flopped in the tandem starter thing, apparently … there was a reliever between the two, so Campos started a fresh inning
