What’s the story with Scottie Allen? He has had a nice little season.

    • Tom K says:

Allen is probably a tad better than your run-of-the-mill “organizational” type of pitcher. Biggest flaw is that he lacks a dominant pitch.

  2. Richard Leo says:

can Rob Refsnyder stick at 2B?

  3. Cool Lester Smooth says:

Is anyone else caught in this downpour in Georgia? I’ve literally never seen anything like it.

Hoverin’ by my suitcase, tryin’ to find a warm place to spend the night
Heavy rain fallin’, seems I hear your voice callin’ “It’s all right.”
A rainy night in Georgia, a rainy night in Georgia
It seems like it’s rainin’ all over the world
I feel like it’s rainin’ all over the world

Neon signs a-flashin’, taxi cabs and buses passin’ through the night
A distant moanin’ of a train seems to play a sad refrain to the night
A rainy night in Georgia, such a rainy night in Georgia
Lord, I believe it’s rainin’ all over the world
I feel like it’s rainin’ all over the world

      How many times I wondered
It still comes out the same
No matter how you look at it or think of it
It’s life and you just got to play the game

I find me a place in a box car, so I take my guitar to pass some time
Late at night when it’s hard to rest I hold your picture to my chest and I feel fine
But it’s a rainy night in Georgia, baby, it’s a rainy night in Georgia
I feel it’s rainin’ all over the world, kinda lonely now And it’s rainin’ all over the world

Oh, have you ever been lonely, people?
And you feel that it was rainin’ all over this man’s world
You’re talking ’bout rainin’, rainin’, rainin’, rainin’, rainin’,
rainin’, rainin’, raainin’, rainin’ rainin’, rainin’, rainin’

    • Travis L. says:

We had a crazy storm here in NC, probably the same front. Lightning like I’ve never seen and TONS of rain. Not just flurries, but the hard shit and makes you think its going to break glass.

  4. Robert says:

Just got home from Blueclaw game in lakewood.16th pick of 2013 draft by the Phillies JP Crawford WOW WOW Lefty batting SS made all the plays and then some in the field. Hit the ball hard outclassed everyone on both squads and is the cousin of Carl Crawford.
can’t blame the Yankee scouts for missing this one.

I hope to see Avelino this weekend to see how he compares to Crawford.

  5. Frank1979 says:

Mustelier is now 14 for his last 23. That means he should be due to get injured again anytime now right?

    • ropeadope says:

He’ll probably step on a misplaced rake leaving the ballpark tonight, gets struck in the face, and winds up on the concussion disabled list.

      • Frank1979 says:

Hahaha, of course. That would be par for the course this year.

      • Dave M says:

That’s the kind of year I’m having as well. I’ve paid over $7k out of pocket in Dr bills this year. Thanks to Obamacare, I have the worst insurance known to man. And I work for the Insurance Company!

        • Vincent Vega says:

Perhaps you should have purchased better insurance.

        • emac2 says:

Funny how people blame Obama when they can’t do their jobs correctly.

It would have been funny if you didn’t have any insurance and were still sick.

        • The Oberamtmann says:

Tell me, how does your company’s insurance now compare to two years ago? And expectations for the next two years when Obamacare really actually goes into effect?

        • FS says:

Affordable Health Care hasn’t started yet. Your blaming Obamacare is misplaced.

  6. Wolfgang's Fault says:

That’s approximately what, $800 G’s of unfulfilled bonus money right there between the two of them? Sigh!
