A few minor transactions via Matt Eddy: C Manny Argomaniz, C Brian Reyes, and 1B Ryan Krill were all released, and OF Matt McPhearson was signed to a minor league deal. McPhearson, 22, was the Diamondbacks’ fourth round pick in 2013. He’s a speed and defense guy who hit .278/.333/.340 (85 wRC+) with 31 steals in 111 High-A games last year. Arizona released McPhearson near the end of Spring Training.
