Swisher's homer gives Yankees sweep over A's

Justin Maxwell just jammed his right shoulder on last night’s homerun saving catch, so he’s not expected to miss much time.

Austin Romine, DH: 2 for 4, 1 R, 1 RBI – 17 for his last 40 (.425) with three walks and just four strikeouts
Bradley Suttle, 3B: 0 for 4, 1 R, 1 RBI
Cody Johnson, LF: 1 for 4, 1 R, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 2 K – third homer in four games, fourth in six games, fifth in ten games
Jose Gil, C, DeAngelo Mack, RF & Yadil Mujica, SS: both 1 for 4 – Gil scored a run and allowed two passed balls … Mujica struck out
Addison Maruszak, 1B: 0 for 2, 1 RBI, 1 BB
Manny Banuelos, LHP: 5 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 4 K, 5-1 GB/FB – 50 of 83 pitches were strikes (60.2%) … picked a runner off first … that’s 3+ walks in four straight starts, five of six starts … he had eight 3+ walk starts in 2009 and 2010 combined
Cory Arbiso, RHP: 1 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 0 K, 3-0 GB/FB – nice strand rate

Manny Barreda, RHP: 0.1 IP, 0 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 4 BB, 1 K – entered the game and walked four straight … brutal
