Triple-A Scranton was rained out yet again. That’s at least their seventh postponement of the season. They’re going to play a doubleheader tomorrow.

Double-A Trenton (15-8 loss to Richmond)

  • LF Ramon Flores: 1-6, 1 R, 2 K
  • RF Tyler Austin: 2-5, 1 R, 1 HR, 2 RBI, 1 K — second homer of the year and his first extra-base hit in eight games
  • C J.R. Murphy: 1-3, 2 RBI, 1 BB — eight hits in his last 23 at-bats (.348) with three walks and one strikeout
  • CF Slade Heathcott: 3-5, 1 R, 1 2B, 1 K — boy did he need a game like this
  • LHP Francisco Rondon: 3.2 IP, 6 H, 10 R, 5 ER, 3 BB, 3 K, 3 WP, 6/3 GB/FB — 56 of 93 pitches were strikes (60%) … 22 runs allowed in his last 13.2 innings with ten walks and nine strikeouts

High-A Tampa (9-8 win over Clearwater in 11 innings, walk-off style)

  • CF Mason Williams: 0-6, 1 RBI — walk-off sac fly
  • 2B Rob Refsnyder: 2-2, 2 R, 1 RBI, 4 BB, 1 SB — 20 walks and 19 strikeouts in 28 games
  • C Gary Sanchez: 2-5, 1 R, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 1 BB, 1 K — fifth homer of the year already
  • RHP Mikey O’Brien: 5 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 K, 6/1 GB/FB

Low-A Charleston (3-2 loss to Delmarva)

  • RF Jake Cave: 1-4, 1 R
  • SS Cito Culver: 0-4, 1 K
  • 1B Greg Bird: 1-2, 1 R, 2 BB, 1 SB — 25 walks in 27 games
  • 3B Dante Bichette Jr.: 0-4, 2 K
  • RHP Gabe Encinas: 3.1 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 5 BB, 5 K, 1 HB, 2/2 GB/FB — easily his worst start of the season because it’s the first time he’s allowed more than one earned run
  • RHP Taylor Garrison: 1.1 IP, zeroes, 3 K, 0/1 GB/FB — 16/3 K/BB in 13 innings
