2012 Draft Order

I will update this page as teams gain and lose draft picks this winter via free agent compensation. Updates are made after the team announces the contract with a press release. Compensation picks gained for losing free agents, as well as those for unsigned 2011 draft picks are protected and can not be lost for signing any kind of free agent. A more in-depth breakdown of all draft rules can be found here.

If you have any questions, you can email me at mike (at) riveraveblues (dot) com. The first 15 picks (not counting compensation picks for unsigned 2010 draft picks) are protected from free agent compensation and are in bold. Ditto the Yankees’ picks.
