- 1B Tyler Austin: 3-4, 1 R, 2 2B, 2 RBI — second straight multi-hit game
- RF Jared Mitchell: 2-5, 1 R, 1 3B, 1 RBI, 2 K — the Yankees signed the former 23rd overall pick (2009) as a minor league free agent over the winter
- LHP Jordan Montgomery: 6 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 2 K, 4/5 GB/FB — 52 of 87 pitches were strikes (60%), plus he picked a runner off first … much better than his first start

High-A Tampa (4-1 loss to Charlotte)
- SS Jorge Mateo: 1-4, 2 K, 1 CS, 1 E (throwing) — not his best day
- LF Mark Payton, 3B Miguel Andujar & RF Austin Aune: all 0-4 — Andujar struck out once, Aune twice
- 1B Mike Ford: 1-2, 1 K — left the game after he struck out looking in the fourth inning, though the box score does not say he was ejected, so I’m not sure what happened
- 2B Abi Avelino: 1-2, 1 R, 1 2B
- RHP Jose Campos: 6.1 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 4 K, 1 Balk, 1 HB, 9/3 GB/FB, 1 E (fielding) — best outing of the season so far
Low-A Charleston (2-1 win over Augusta) SS Kyle Holder did not play for the second straight day, so he must be banged up … he dealt with a nagging thumb injury last season
- SS Hoy Jun Park: 2-4, 1 R, 2 K — 11-for-34 (.324) during his seven-game hitting streak
- LF Trey Amburgey: 0-2, 1 RBI, 1 BB — six walks and only three strikeouts so far this year
- RF Jhalan Jackson: 0-4, 2 K, 1 HBP — in a 3-for-20 (.150) slump with eight strikeouts
- 2B Thairo Estrada: 1-4, 1 RBI, 1 K
- RHP Domingo Acevedo: 7 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 6 K, 7/3 GB/FB — 57 of 84 pitches were strikes (68%) … his first start was a mess, but the last two have been excellent (combined 13.2 IP, 10 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 3 BB, 14 K)
- RHP Andrew Schwaab: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 3 K, 1/1 GB/FB — 15 of 19 pitches were strikes (79%) … the undrafted free agent has 38 strikeouts and six walks in 28.2 innings since signing last year
