16 y/o Dominican OF, Jose Jose
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03.....ref=slogin
“He’s a very interesting kid,†Cruz said after watching José field, throw, run and hit over an hour and half period. “He’s got a good bat.â€
Ferreira is making plans to have other teams see José. Seattle and Anaheim are on the list, as are the Yankees. The Red Sox may be ready to sign him now. They are the only team that visited José’s native San Pedro de Macoris in the Dominican Republic to see him work out. [/QUOTE]
I don’t know anything about this Kid. I hope Yankees signs him to contract and to create more depth in farmsystem.
General rule of thumb is never trust a man with 2 first names. I suppose that applies double if he has the same first name twice.
“Mr. Negativity”?
I suppose that fits on a T-Shirt and vanity plates better than “Mr. The Glass is always half-empty.”
{wink}
Belhorn lined a single to center and DeSalvo walked Votto. Denorfia then hit a single to score Belhorn to make it 5-2 Reds. Mike Meyers is up replacing DeSalvo to face Bubba Crosby.
Myers hit Crosby. base loaded w/ nobody out. Myers is freaking waste on the roster. Why would He hit Crosby and He can’t hit?
I’m gonna have to go out on a limb and sa Myers didn’t hit Bubba intentionally.
Hey, at least he was pitching inside.
