Slooooooow day

By

Who does this guy think he is, a former Yankee? Seriously, it’s great to see Danny battle back from all those injuries, he’s one of the classiest people on the planet. While on the topic of former Yankee prospects, might as well mention that it looks like CJ Henry may be going back to basketball. He’s the only real blemish on Damon Oppenheimer’s draft resume…

Triple-A Scranton is off until Thursday for the All-Star Break. An Albuquerque real estate agent beat out a 49-yr old and a bunch of high school kids to win the Triple-A Homerun Derby last night. I’m not joking.

Double-A Trenton is also off until Thursday for the All-Star Break.

High-A Tampa, Low-A Charleston and Short Season Staten Island all have scheduled off days in observance of the MLB All-Star Game.

Rookie GCL Yanks shut out the GCL Indians 4-0. I’m going to slack off today and not post the stats, but you can check them out via the link. You aren’t missing much, except a nasty outing by Jairo Heredia.

I honestly hate the allstar game. I dont know why, i’d rather have a regular day in baseball than 3 depressingly slow days of sports.

the evil empire that we are, the yanks can really stock up on a crazy amount of young talent with these July 2nd signings… if Jairo Heredia was in the states in High school doing what he’s doing with his stuff how high would he go in the draft? Been reading as much as I could find about him and Jairo Heredia might be the next young gun after Betances to really keep an eye on- 17 years old- wow
