i tried to screen cap the fist pump but missed it. damn!
this kid brings awesome vibes to the team, i love him. no homo
A 3-2 slider to Tejada!!!! This dude is my hero!
Did you hear the crowd during his entire inning? They were buzzing! I’m hoping they don’t need him till Thursday, cause I’ll be at the Bronx that night.
(And very impressive on the instantaneous Joba Watch update)
That was just ridiculous. Completely overmatched all 3 hitters. Didn’t have a prayer.
Sorry, but you just don’t run on Melk.
ooo boy. these r the ones that sting. hopefully we can celebrate instead
especially considering that karstens is the starter tomorrow. this one is pretty neccesary, no?
Melky Cabrera has cordially invited you to the Gun Show.
Good lord, why is giambi not hitting here ? Oh and nice puss on Farnsworthless in the pen. Hey, how about you show some pride douchebag.
Well there you go
Heh, Giambi & Jeter must have seen Farnsworth warming up.
A win’s a win, but Torre shoulda stuck w/ Joba.
Shoulda woulda coulda. Joe Torre should NEVER catch shit for bringing Mo in with a 1 run lead. Mo hits this little rough patch every August, the good part is the team won both games in which he was less than his legendary self.
Joba was great.
I agree with Greg G. Hopefully next Thursday will be his next appearance. I’ll be there as well. (Mostly to boo and taunt Gary Sheffield, but Joba will be a bonus!)
Amen, Mike.
Freddy: Here’s to hoping they don’t need Joba on Wednesday. (But with Bedard vs. Hughes — it could be a low-scoring affair)
Joba’s strikeout of Tejada was especially fun to watch. That slider was sick!
anyone have a link with a shot of the screaming fist pump?
The best I have is the back cover of the Daily News:

I put together a little animated gif of the fist pump:
