Nettles out of surgery

Long-time yankee Graig Nettles is out of prostate cancer surgery and resting comfortably at home. Nettles, 63, opted for surgery this month after serving as a Spring Training instructor in Tampa. I’ll have more on Nettles and the Yankees of the late 1970s in my upcoming review of The Greatest Game.
