AL East chat at Beyond the Boxscore

By Joseph Pawlikowski

It’s not an RAB chat, but today over at Beyond the Boxscore I’ll be chatting AL East with a few panelists. Sky Kalkman, who you might remember from the lineup thread, will moderate, so you know you’re in good hands. I’ll be alongside R.J. Anderson of DRays Bay (and Fangraphs, and BtB, so he’s on home turf), Marc Normandin of Baseball Prospectus, and Jonathan Hale of The Mockingbird. Chat starts at 2, so get in and submit your questions.

Joe = Yankees fan
Anderson = Rays fan, I’d assume
Kalkman = ?
Normandin = ?
Hale = ? (Blue Jays?)

Is this chat a partisan affair? And if so, help me with the rest of the labels, please…

I hope so. I want to hear some Kruschevian pounding of shoes on tables.

Or at least some Bushian throwing of shoes at each other.

Mike Pop says:

Maybe some trident throwing…..

I’m just moderating. Although for full disclosure I grew up a Yankee fan, starting like the Red Sox while in school in New Hampshire, and currently appreciate the Rays for the work Friedman’s done over the past two years. I don’t really root for teams, but I follow the smarter ones more closely.

Marc’s a Red Sox fan, but knows all of MLB very well. Hale is a Blue Jays guy. And we’ve added Heath from Dempsey’s Army as the Orioles’ panelist.

Okay, thanks. BTW, for all the RAB twitterers, if you’re not following Sky, you should be, he’s awesome.
