My questions that don’t seem to be going through:
1) Do you think Matsui will receive a nice send-off from the fans in the Yankees last home game this season in appreciation of his years in pinstripes?
2) The Yankees recently traded a lot of their back-end rotation filler (Marquez, Ohlendorf, Karstens). Who do they currently have in the minors that projects to be those kind of starters?
IPK can definitely be considered a filler, but, I still think his ceiling is higher than that.
It’s nothing personal, there’s a ton of questions and it’s easy to miss some.
1) Probably not, Giambi and Abreu didn’t get one.
2) Bleich, Pope, Kontos.
I still don’t understand the Cano on waivers thing.
