Brett Gardner left today’s game with … a stomach bug


Via Mark Feinsand: Brett Gardner left today’s game after five innings due to a stomach bug according to Joe Girardi. Thankfully it’s nothing serious, but at this point I wouldn’t be surprised if the virus mutated into some kind of flesh eating disease that landed Gardner on the DL all season. It’s been that kind of Spring Training.
