RHP Danny Burawa has been placed on the Double-A Trenton DL with left knee bursitis, according to Josh Norris. Meanwhile, Norris says SS Cito Culver was placed on the DL recently with an ankle injury. It’s not considered serious and he’s expected back soon.

  1. forensic says:

Sanchez’s game is still going but you know he homered in a win? That’s impressive.

  2. Robinson Tilapia says:

Do we think Stairs actually makes it all the way?

    • forensic says:

Who knows, but his line up there isn’t correct, according to the box score. It’s actually 1.1 innings, 2 BB, 1 K, along with the WP and HBP.

Safe to say the control isn’t quite back yet.

  3. jack florham says:

What’s the deal with Montgomery? How come they’re pitching him so often, and for multiple innings and high pitch counts?

    • pat says:

He’s basically going every 4 days. They do it for all their big relief prospects to get them regular work instead of waiting for save situations.

    • Laz says:

Word was that they are still trying to build up his arm strength. Trying to tire out the arm while giving him time to rest back up.

  4. Dave m says:

I just watched the Charlston game. For some reason the announcer kept calfing Campos “Vincente Campos”

  5. Laz says:

Dugas might make an exciting top of the order hitter if he can keep his obp over .400. He will have to do just that too, LFer with no power and not great speed will have trouble moving up.

  6. pat says:

Here’s to hoping once the weather heats up so will the bats.

  7. Laz says:

Dante’s obp is about to go over .300. Get the champagne ready.

  8. JobaWockeeZ says:

Since I didn’t see it until now, whoever responded to me in the Sanchez thread needs to learn what ceiling means before making a retort…

  9. Mark says:

Bring Almonte up, and give him some starts vs rhp. Ichiro is terrible.

  10. Richard Leo says:

Ben Gamel has a nice season, though the power is still waiting.

  11. Wayne says:

I want tommy kahnle to get promoted to aaa by august.

  12. Robert says:

Agree on Almonte time to get some bats into this lineup.

  13. joeo says:

I know his ship has just about sailed and he is old for his league, but quietly, Carmen Angelini has had a pretty good year.

  14. Poconos Adam says:

Taylor Dugas: 4th OFer? Second Tier starter (and therefore trade bait?) Any news about his defense? He is an OBP machine, but little power or speed…..

DOTF puts him up here once or twice per week, but not everyday. Difference of opinion among the DOTF staff?
