OF Tyler Austin is heading to Tampa after having his right wrist checked out, reports Josh Norris. He’s been out with a bone bruise for nearly three weeks and will start the whole rehab/re-evaluate process. There are only five weeks left in the minor league season, so I suppose there’s a chance we won’t see him again this year. The Yankees could send Austin to the Arizona Fall League to make up the lost time, however.
