Do the Yankees really think that having almost zero production out of third base and catcher, will somehow land them a playoff spot?
Well, there only a couple games back from the second Wild Card and they’ve made it this far with no production from those positions by compensating elsewhere (namely the pitching). But to your point, it’ll be difficult.
Who is the Yankees starting 3B next season?
My guess: a scrub. I’m hoping it won’t be more Nix or Adams but it very well could be. We’ll see what happens on the trade market in the offseason. Unfortunately, the 2014 Free Agent List for 3B is pretty slim pickings unless your idea of a good option is a 37 year old Young.
I hope it’s Headley from San Diego
He is so overrated it’s not even funny anymore
Thing about Kuroda, everyone says trade him, but he has never done a contract without the NTC and I doubt he forgot to do one now it this year even though people can’t find it. He is also well known for making use of those clauses, even if the current team isn’t very good and honestly I doubt anything would be said that could convince him otherwise.
How could the Yankees have drafted Sale?
13th overall pick vs 30th.
Why the hell would the Yankees choose to select 30th when there were 29 earlier picks? It can only mean one thing, isn’t that right Brian Cashman.
