    That first Seattle game should be a hot ticket. Will the fans boo or cheer Cano?

      That’s an interesting question. The Yankee fans have always given a warm response to returning players, but the circumstances were different. The Yankees replaced Tino with Giambi. The Yankees let Matsui leave as a free agent; ditto for Damon.

      Cano left the Yankees. My bet is he gets booed, or a very lukewarm reception. I could be wrong. I would cheer him his first AB back, but not thereafter. I’m going with boos when he returns.
