• The Yankees will not hire Rangers hitting coach Dave Magadan to be their hitting coach. Cubs assistant hitting coach Eric Hinske declined to interview for New York’s hitting coach job.
• Injury Update: CC Sabathia (knee) says he feels like he’s back to 100%. He will not throw off a mound before Thanksgiving as planned and will instead report to Spring Training early.
• MLBTR projects $12.9M in total salaries for the Yankees’ seven arbitration-eligible players, including Michael Pineda ($2.1M) and Ivan Nova ($3.3M).
• Dellin Betances finished second to Greg Holland in the 2014 Mariano Rivera Award voting. There were no Yankees among the 2014 Gold Glove finalists.
• The Yankees announced their 2015 Spring Training schedule. Pitchers and catchers report on February 20th.
