Thursday Night Open Thread

The Yankees have an off-day today and tomorrow night they’ve begin an important three-game series against the Red Sox. A once promising season hangs in the balance! Anyway, on this off-day, I highly recommend checking out Tim Brown’s article on Brett Gardner. It’s two weeks old, but I just got around to reading it today, and it’s worth passing along. Make sure you check it out.

Here is an open thread for this night without Yankees baseball. The decisive Game Three of the 2018 College World Series Finals is on right now (ESPN2), and if you haven’t watched at all, you’ve missed a heck of a series. The series should’ve ended last night, but a foul pop-up wasn’t caught. ESPN will have the Red Sox and Angels, and that’s pretty much it. Light MLB schedule tonight. Talk about those games, the Gardner article, or anything that isn’t religion or politics right here. Thanks in advance.
