Monday Night Open Thread

Quick Postgame Notes: Sanchez, Montgomery, Shreve
DotF: Wade and Cessa lead Scranton to win in home opener

I’m not sure we could have asked for a better home opener. I guess Michael Pineda could have finished off the perfect game, but that’s asking a lot. Give me a great pitching performance and eight runs from the offense every day of the week. And home runs  from Aaron Judge. Damn do I love watching that man mash taters. These last two days were pretty fun. Tomorrow’s off-day will be a good one.

Here is an open thread for the rest of the night. This afternoon’s win will be replayed on YES at 10:30pm ET, if you’re interested. This was the rare game worth watching again. The Mets are playing tonight and ESPN will have the Dodgers and Cubs later on. The Cubbies are having their ring ceremony before the game. The Nets are playing as well, so talk about those games or anything else here, as long as it’s not religion or politics.
