Keith Law (subs. req’d) posted his updated top 50 prospects list today and it included one Yankee: LHP Justus Sheffield, who ranked 12th overall and fourth among pitchers. “He’s very close to major league-ready … and has all the elements of a future No. 2 starter,” says the write-up.
Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (7-3 win over Columbus)
- CF Clint Frazier: 0-1, 1 K — left the game in the second for an unknown reason, though he did dive for a ball in the outfield earlier in the game, so he might be hurt … sure hope not, that would suck … UPDATE: Conor Foley says Frazier was removed as a precaution with possible concussion symptoms following the diving … remember Clint missed all that time with a concussion earlier this year
