Wednesday Night Open Thread

Joe Girardi has a new job. Earlier today MLB Network announced Girardi is their newest in-studio analyst. His first show was earlier this evening, I believe. During a conference call this afternoon Girardi said he hopes to manage again one day (duh), but no team contacted him for an interview this offseason. I bet he’s managing again within two years. The Cardinals seem like an obvious landing spot with Mike Matheny wearing out his welcome and the team not a lock to make the postseason this year. We’ll see. Girardi was never going to have a hard time finding work. He’ll do the MLB Network thing for the time being and he’ll be back in the dugout before you know it.

Here is an open thread for the night. Rangers, Nets, a bunch of college basketball teams. All in action tonight. Talk about those games, Girardi’s new gig, or anything that isn’t religion or politics right here.
