The Yanks are 1 for their last 20 with RISP. But at least their rehabbing pitchers are getting better. Chase Wright, on the other hand, may have been ruined by his Boston start…

Jeff Krastens had a good tune up in his final rehab game going 6 innings and giving up no runs. I can’t say the say for Chase Wright who did his best Igawa impression giving up 10 runs in 4+ innings. Zach McAllister, on the other hand, continued his stellar pitching. Zach blanked the Tri-City opponents for 5 innings and has lowered his ERA to 2.97.

The Wright thing bothers me to no end. At the time I feared exactly this, that Wright would get “Henned” so to speak. Not that I think he was all that great to begin within, but the Yankees should be ashamed of themselves for throwing Wright out there and very probably screwing up his chances of ever making it. A few good starts in AA does not a major league pitcher make. Oh well…

What’s the deal with Bradeyn Pruitt. While it’s only about 45 at bats, he’s hitting close to 490, most of his hits are singles and he’s only walked 5 times and struck out three. Yeah, you can’t get excited about a guy who does it in short-season right away, but it’s much better than him not hitting at all. Anyone know much about this guy?

    Did Karstens have 4 BB and 4 K, or 4 BB and 1 K? Am I the only one who prefers “4BB, 4 K”?

Steven Jackson Sux…Chase wright should be considered for the pen and not for the big club! Glad to see Karstens back healthy, and pitching well. I just hope it’s at the expense of Phil Hughes. We’ve all been waiting for Hughes to come back healthy and help produce for the team this year. We all now he’s ready. I cant watch another game if he’s back in the minors for another year!

I meant to say hope not at the expense of Hughes ^_^

I blame the Yankees struggles on Igawa, every time they start to win he messes it up. If only Phil didnt get injured.
