Meanwhile, when I posted on May 29 that the Yanks would have to play .614 from then on to contend for the Wild Card, I was roasted in the comments. Well, guess what? I was right. Told you so.

Not true. You were roasted, but not for suggesting they’d HAVE TO play .614 ball, but suggesting they COULD play .614. Considering how badly they were playing at the time, it was a mighty stretch.
Considering their run differential at the time and their expected record, it wasn’t too much of a stretch really.
That post from May is why I love this blog. Whenever I got down this season, I knew I could come here and find realistic optimism. Thanks.
Well, those were mostly sux trolls who couldn’t wait to dump on the yanks. So it’s unlikely they will come back to get your message.
