An excerpt from The Greatest Game

By Benjamin Kabak

Recently arriving in the mail was Richard Bradley’s latest called The Greatest Game. Bradley uses the 1978 playoff game between the Yankees and Red Sox as a way to explore the historic rivalry between the two teams. The book so far is excellent, and I’ll have a review when I’m through. To whet your appetite, take a read through an excerpt of the book posted on ESPN’s Page 2. It’s good stuff.
