Jorge targeting mid-week return
ByBarring any setback, Jorge Posada will return to the Yankees either on Wednesday or Thursday of this week. In his rehab in extended spring training this afternoon, Posada made two throws to second and said he felt good, just like he knew that he would. With the Yanks on a current streak, getting back their All Star catcher will be an even bigger boost.
We are definitely in good shape right now. We’re at .500, getting some key pieces back and Joba is gonna start starting. And we got JB, Robertson and Melancon knocking on the door to the ‘pen. Things are looking really good for us.
So Mike, who would you DFA, Moeller or Molina?

I’d probably ditch Moeller. I’m less impressed with his catching skills, and over his career, he’s never been a better hitter than Molina.
I agree, Molina has had experience atleast, moeller is just an old mediocre 3rd string catcher.
another cause for optimism: posada’s gotten a rest through this DL stint.
