Riding the Nostalgia Train to Yankee Stadium

New York City Transit, the arm of the MTA that operates the subways, is running a special nostalgia train up to Yankee Stadium this evening. To find the details about catching the train, read my post on Second Ave. Sagas about the special ride.

  1. Steve says:

$50 that thing breaks down and you wind up walking 1/2 a mile through Harlem and the South Bronx in the middle of the night.

There’s a reason why they retired those things.

    • Ben K. says:

I would take you up on that bet. They run these nostalgia trains all the time and not once has one broken down. Plus, they’re running one train at 6 p.m. north. That’s hardly “the middle of the night.”
