Tampa isn’t in Daytona tomorrow.
Thanks for pointing that out, Andy.
coughdouchebagcough
you should really get that checked out.
How can I be a Douche Bag if I don’t own a single “Affliction” shirt?
What about Ed Hardy? Do you wear your hat with a 45-degree tilt?
I love the Ed Hardy wine. Tastes like sweaty grapes and tattoo ink.

(Poor Jamal. Sorry, man.)
(The commenter “Casper,” in that thread, was me, in a past life.)
Holy crap is that comment old. Where does the time go.
To this site’s credit, doing a search for “Ed Hardy” only returned 3 results. Go RAB, I guess.
Dude… I just went back and randomly scanned down to the bottom of that thread (random… just curious to see who was commenting back then so I quickly scanned down the page… forget it, I’m bored)… And that thread has something funny in common with more recent threads… Someone (Andy in Sunny Daytona) making fun of Axl. Some things never change.
If sure he didn’t deserve it.
And I don’t know why, but this comment is funny for some reason:
“Drew Storen is filthy. He reminds me of Robb Nen.”
Ok, I’m done now.
F it, I take it back. Who the hell was “the most felonious vocalist in the wide world of showbusiness?” What an awesome name.
Ok, really done this time.
Speaking of people who’ve disappeared … where the hell is tsjc? He’s still tweeting and shit, but he hasn’t commented here in a week.
Yeah, his absence has been conspicuous and unfortunate.
Nice to see Z-Mac return and be effective.
Somewhere, someone is pissed about Black being pulled with a no hitter due to pitch count.
Happened to Warren as well, I was pissed about that.
Melancon doing some nice work tonight. Hope he can get himself into a nice groove down there in SW-B and come back strong with the big club at some point.
I’m sure we’ll see him in September, if not sooner.
He was just starting to get comfortable at the MLB level when Gaudin came in.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see him take Bruney’s spot in the pen next spring, or at some point…
You’ve probably answered this a hundred times Mike, but is Neil Medchill a legitimate prospect, or is he just an older guy taking advantage of playing against younger competition?
Both. He can hit, but the talent level in the NY-PL is down. Not the best plate discipline in the world, so let’s see how he does against better pitching.
Hey, where do the GCL Yankees play their games, the Everglades?
That team gets rained out about every third game. Maybe they need to put a roof over their field. (I’m kidding, I’m kidding … I think.)
I would assume that they don’t have a world class grounds crew going for them.
When the Rays build their new stadium the Yanks should buy the Trop.
“Remember that stadium you guys used to play in? Yeah, the Trop, you guys remember. Well, we bought it and use it for extended spring training now. Nice little park, and we needed a roof.”
Football is going to be played in the Trop by one of the new UFL league teams.
There you go … !
Duncan is going to be a nice piece on the bench come Sept 1.
True, good guy to have pinch hitting when you need power. Plus his energy is great.
Wait, I don’t understand.
Let me read it again. Sarcasm? Nope. Snark? Nope. Negativity? Nope.
Alright, mark this one down on your calendars, Lanny’s first positive Yankee-related comment.
Celebratory beer anyone?
Nice photos of Black. If anyone plans on taking photos of pitching or any baseball make sure your camera can be set to a shutter speed of at least 1600 to avoid blur. Then adjust your ISO and aperture value to accommodate the speed.
It brings a tear to my eye reading the box score for Trenton and not seeing Jesus Montero in it.
I’m still holding out hope we’ll see Jesus Monetero in a New York boxscore in September lol Why can’t he DH
Jesus performs miracles, he turns box scores into happiness. Hell isn’t bad except for the absence of Jesus.
Wow, Neil Medchill must be really awesome to go 2 for 3 AND 1 for 4 in the same game!!!
Oh nevermind, Mike Axisa = FAIL
Yeah yeah yeah. It’s fixed now.
Black hitting 106 tonight?
Sean Black is such an intimidating pitching name … I like it
Sean Black is such an intimidating pitching name … I like it
is the innings shortage an issue for z-mac going forward?
I wouldn’t think so. He had 150 last year.
Is it just me or has it rained every day this summer in the northeast?
