I’m offended you would think that. I don’t drug women and take advantage of them.
It would be wrong of me to incapacitate you in any way, because you wouldn’t fully enjoy the pleasuring I give. I want you stone cold sober so you can live in the moment and dream about it for years afterwards.
No there aren’t, because they’re finishing it off in Anahiem. There will however play two in the World Series before completing the sweep in Philly or LA.
This is just another signature 2009 Yankees walk off in process. How do you explain this team to your grandchildren? To people who never witnessed this?
I know we’re all over the Angels ball washing in terms of the “sound defense” and all but, seriously, that’s a Kansas City Royals/Washington Natinals play. How do you not throw to first?
Pena basically duplicates Hairston. Only one of Hinske/Hairston will be back, and though what you said about J-Hair is true, I think he’ll probably be back. Though, right now, Hairston is a Type B–might as well offer him arb.
I’m not saying that all his moves were right tonight, but pretty much every move Joe made worked out. The only one that did not was the Gardner for Swisher move, and even that resulted in Gardy getting a hit later. Every pitcher he brought in seemed to get the outs he asked him to get (even Aceves, who did not seem sharp at all, limited the damage). It just seems like what happened with Torre in 1996- you could quibble with some of the moves, but they all worked out. Karma, baby.
I don’t blame him. You play to win that half inning because we have the offense that can win an extra inning game in one swing. It seems tedious and almost bit him in the ass, but you gotta have faith in our offense.
The only gripe I have is pinch running Guzman for Matsui at first base with two outs. That is a really low percentage move and leaves you with a really weak bat in the lineup with only one position player left.
I think his pitching moves were good tonight, but the Gardner for Swisher thing was definitely premature, especially considering that Gardner didn’t run.
I like Girardi. But, I don’t understand two moves.
1. having molina hit in the 6th. (to have molina hit there in a tie game with a man on. for what? so burnett can throw to him for one more inning)
2. having guzman hit in the 11th. (he then has hairston hit for guzman in the 13th and he gets a hit and they win the game.)
i don’t have a problem with the pitching moves because he had gaudin to back him up. but, i really don’t get the other moves.
Hitting Hairston was a bit of a desperation move. Cervelli is the only remaining position player, and if the Yankees don’t win and someone gets injured in the 14th inning, they’re in deep trouble. That’s why Hairston sat for a while longer.
Which is why I didn’t like running Guzman for Matsui in the first place, but who cares now?
i don’t know. guzman is a terrible hitter. he was a automatic out. What are the odds that a player would get injured?
i like girardi and have never had a problem with his moves but those two moves were puzzling.
Which would ultimately have a bigger impact on Alex Rodriguez’s legacy?
A) Admission of performance-enhancing drugs
B) World Series Title and postseason success
Are you sure he hasn’t just proven what we already knew…that he’s a really good hitter, and judging him on 75 ABs spread over 3 years was absurd in the first place?
No, ARod is just one guy: a really, really good baseball player. He might have gotten in his own way sometimes, but there’s nothing magic about it. He’s really good and works really hard at staying really good.
I mean…the same guy tied the game on an 0-2 pitch as popped up with the bases loaded and the game on the line.
Yo I thought they kind of had to pitch to Alex in the 9th. He’s not your typical Bonds/Pujols, “Oh we have to walk him,” because a walk to Al with Fuentes pitching is basically a double. He can steal easy off him.
Then you bunt with Freddy/J-Hair and all Grit needs is an infield chopper and the game is tied anyway.
Thoughts?
He’s a lefty which makes it more difficult but from what I’ve seen this year he doesn’t really have a great pick off move. Also, to the naked eye he doesn’t seem too quick to the plate.
I think Al would have been able to steal off hte battery of Mathis and Fuentes.
So…despite the fact that no one tries it, and that the success rate is about 60% at best…ARod with a bad hip should’ve been able to make it based on your eyeballing it?
I’m not Kelleher with a stop watch but Fuentes s not quick to the plate.
When you walk Alex and have Guzman and Brett due up behind him, Alex would have gone. As you yourself guessed, chances are he makes it(60%). Mathis only throws out 26% of runners.
Basically I’d walk Arod then make him steal then make Guz lay down a good bunt then make Gardy get a hit of Fuentes. Letting Arod swing the bat was retarded.
I’m not saying you put him on, but you CERTAINLY don’t throw him anything good to hit. And then, once the ump gives you those two pitches out of the zone, you CAN’T throw anything even NEAR that close.
Just got home. What a game. This is one of the greatest teams I’ve had the privilege to watch. I never, even for a minute, thought they were going to lose. Even in the bottom of the 9th, I wasn’t sweating it. A-rod made me feel smart.
One thing though…I want Jete to get a Pie in his face that’s not Minka Kelley.
I was there and all i can say was that after being the the Friday ALDS and tonight’s ALCS, I’m convinced that every game i go to turns to gold. The yankees were meant to win this year, and i swear they will. despite about 20 beers, im fairly confident im right and not just drunk. look how good i did at spell check before i posted this. It’s just meant to be.
Jesus H Christ, Vlad just tried to hit a ball in the dirt.
Spillover Thread X! This is a good thing. Like Malcolm X.
ROBO>>>>>>>>>>PAPLBITCH
10 is just X you know.
If we lose this game, I’m blaming the lack of Roman Numerals.
When chaos ensues, we turn on each other.
These two comments ftw
and if we win i will blame the roman numerals for why it took so long.
Goddamn Romans. Sure they gave us democracy, but if they blow this one for us…
The Greeks gave us democracy.. the Romans gave us caesar salad.
And Roman baths.
Robertson is very good.
great analysis. p.s. my fantasy football team name is El Guapo. You rule.
I can’t believe this fucking game.
Hairston batting for Guzman
Hairston hr to lef.
Mike, ten is an easy one dawg.
For the first time in a while I was actually nervous to watch Cano field a ball
We need to win this before my heart stops beating.
(unwraps hypodermic syringe of adrenaline)
Forget about Jake H. Let me get some of that!
Vincent Vega’d
(applies tourniquet to left arm)
nah, dude, you mainline that shit straight into the heart.
So, Rocky II, plus Rocky V, equals Rocky VII: Adrian’s Revenge!
That’d be a Zombie movie, right?
wow oh wow
11 threads tonight
Sadly, I’m the least confident in our offense going into this inning
Which is exactly why we’ll win here.
(slaps Arman in the face)
Give me another, nice work Jerry
Double digits baby…..we deserve a win
K-Rob has been money for us so far in the playoffs.
*Is happy to swallow words of doubt he previously had*
Wait, we go from VIII (8)? to 10?
It’s that kinda night.
This is thread number “who cares.”
Isn’t this actually thread 9?
Spillover 9, but thread 10. So ya.
http://twitter.com/SI_JonHeyman/status/4960502348
Heh.
Thats funny
It is Guzman time.
Please show the world why you are even considered a major league ball player.
Oh well, Guzman will have to wait for another day.
I’m getting sleepy. Should not have drank so many gin and tonics…
If I had a penny for every time I reloaded this site…
OK that’s it. STOP FUCKING AROUND…END THIS SHIT…because i dont want to see this Black eyed peas commercial for the rest of the night…
Side note…these BBerry commercials make me want to throw mine down the garbage disposal.
Robertson > Aceves
what a performance
Can Girardi pinch hit for Guzman?
Yankees.. I beg you, I plead with you, Please END THIS GAME!
OK, I’m back. What has happened?
No one knows how to count in Roman numberalisms.
Pie for Jerry?
Who was scared when the ball came to Cano.
ME ME
This is the inning that ended the Boston game. It will end this one.
Epic FAIL. Wait one more inning.
The Boston game went 15 innings. This is the 13th inning.
Well might as well waait for the next inning, I have a hard time believing Guzman and Gardner would do something.
Or Hairston for that matter.
You have shamed yourself.
D-Rob earning his clutch degree alongwith Al this post season..
This is not mystique and aura, folks.
It’s not about ghosts.
The one word that epitomizes these Yankees is:

I can’t remember the last time I saw that.
Let’s go, Robbie. Atone. Again.
Hairston single – check
Gritty Gutty bunt – check
Cano with the pie….
Come on, fellas. Get. This. Done.
Wouldn’t it be smart for a hit and run? Im ok with the bunt however.
Okay, they’re in business. Win this shit now.

Cano needs to make up for his terrible defensive night.

This is just another signature 2009 Yankees walk off in process.
How do you explain this team to your grandchildren? To people who never witnessed this?
It’s the team that always comes through.
lol they are walking cano??

Who would you rather face Cano or Melky?
Mary Carey awaits with pie, Melky
Is this a Mama Heuvos moment in the making?
Showing up late. Let’s hope it’s for a party.
I guess it was!
do they know that Melky is amazing in these situation?
Melky. No. Double. Plays. Please.
Cmon Robbie. Damnit, they scurred of Ninjas cuz they be carrying weapons and shit all the time.
Cmon Melky. Tell em to suck your balls.
not to be a bitch. but, shouldn’t hairston have pinch hit for Guzman before. what’s the difference between now and then?
It’s the 13th inning.
Might as well go for it.
Lets go Melky.

This is just another signature 2009 Yankees walk off in process.
How do you explain this team to your grandchildren? To people who never witnessed this?
It’s the team that always comes through.
I don’t even know what just happened but I am screaming.
HOSHITWHAT.
JHAIR.
You seem flustered. Here, sit down and let me give you a glass of water and take off your bra.
I was just wondering where you were.
I may be excited, buddy, but I know that’s not water.
This exchange would have been 10 times better if Riddering wasn’t a girl.
I’m offended you would think that. I don’t drug women and take advantage of them.
It would be wrong of me to incapacitate you in any way, because you wouldn’t fully enjoy the pleasuring I give. I want you stone cold sober so you can live in the moment and dream about it for years afterwards.
The last thing I want to do is stimulate your already well-endowed ego, Tommie, but damn.
You always know the right thing to say to a lady.
Great infield defense by the Angels. Burnett should have pies for their faces. lmao!
That’s it. The Yankees aren’t losing another game until April 2010 at the earliest.
Wait whaa??? What happened?
Fuck you Angels.
Great job Yanks.
was there ever a fitting ending to the game..
FUCKING YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES, YES, YES, YES!
THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA YANKEES WIN!
Izturis gets a pie in the face for his assist
we won.
Why in the hell did he not throw to first?
make that 17-0 when tied after 7 in YSIII.
MELKY! MELKY! MELKY!
Enjoy it Jerry. That was Mo’s gift for you finally getting into the postseason. Enjoy it.
Does Iztarus get the pie?
We’ll send it to him in the mail or something.
aybar was so worried about coming off 2nd.
UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE
I’m laughing like a mad man. I didn’t have another inning left in me. Thank you Baseball Gods.
Yankees – Never Count ‘Em Out!
AWWW, the announcers are upset.
Fuck yeah homeys!
I love you guys in a totally non homosexual way!
Haha, McCarver and Buck sounded so sad when that happened.
Must have interrupted their Angels circle jerk.
Last game in the stadium this season had to be a walkoff by Melky.
It’s symmetry.
what the hell are you talking about…at least 2 more in the series.
Uh…I just figured that the rest of the league gave up after seeing that there’s no stopping us.
(or a HUGE scheduling FAIL on my part…)
/I’ll just take the rest of the night off now.
No there aren’t, because they’re finishing it off in Anahiem. There will however play two in the World Series before completing the sweep in Philly or LA.
Um, there will be 2 more, in the World Series, bay-bee.
This is just another signature 2009 Yankees walk off in process. How do you explain this team to your grandchildren? To people who never witnessed this?
It’s the team that always comes through.
Seriously…why wasn’t he throwing to first on that? High schoolers know to throw to first on that.
Karma.
Do all the little things well…
Yeeeeeeeeeeesssssssss
There is just no quit in this team. Unbelievable.
hahahahaha rosenthall looks like a hobit next to A-Rod
/DJ Khaled’d
WHOOOO???
WE THA BEST!
Karma bitches.
The best middle infield or some bullshit.
Go Yanks, we dominate.
Those two guys are two of the best middle infielders in the game.
/McCarver’d
Ken Rosenthal’s mind: FUCK YOU A-ROD
Melky = Good Luck Charm
This was all A-Rod baby….. he’s a new man!!!
Jerry was all like “Stop right there. You got me.”
why go to second in that spot. do you think you’re turning two.
tsjc, you da man. If I had a sister, I’d give her to ya.
What I need is a back brace. It’s hard carrying around all this genius, and this huge cock.
the wheelchair is cheaper.
And Chode Figgins can pump his fist all the way back to Anaheim
They were too tired to even celebrate. LOL
Jerry gets the pie not sneak-style from behind, but right in the kisser with full foreknowledge.
Classic.
I love you, AJ.
/Mike Pop’d
Heh.
I think this new stadium has some ghost too!!!
I still can’t believe what I just saw.
They shoulda pied Maicer
Oh man would that ever start a brawl. Easily quote of the week.
We cant forget Hairston and his pinch hit
Go Yanks
How did the Surprise do today?
they lost like 7 threads ago.
Andy is committed. You’re the man.
I just spilled water everywhere and I’m not even mad!
unless your crib is dehydrated, I don’t see a real issue here. enjoy the win!
McCarver and Buck are really sad. They’re about to cry right now.
What a beauty:
http://www.fangraphs.com/livew.....=291017110
That shit looks like the EKG readings of 90% of the Yankee fanbase.
Am I reading that wrong…you’d think Alex’s homer would’ve been marked as more an important spot down with the green bars.
How about the pen – AGAIN. 1 run from a rusty Ace. That’s it. Man, they are great.
non Roman numerals FTW
Is this seriously a real team, real season, real postseason?
Miracle after miracle, walk-off after walk-off, pie in the face after pie in the face.
I am in the process of changing Wikipedias definition of “Clutch” to simply……The 2009 Yankees.
Just did it! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clutch#See_also
That is awesome.
HAHAHA Marc u might be tonight’s MVP. Well Done.
For real, +1.
That was awesome.
I wonder how long it will stay there?
Fuckin Miami Fox affiliate left the game as soon as it ended, I didnt get to see some pie
The YES website will upload it in a day or two.
/seconded
I know we’re all over the Angels ball washing in terms of the “sound defense” and all but, seriously, that’s a Kansas City Royals/Washington Natinals play. How do you not throw to first?
Don’t forget Aybar/Itzuris Two of the best in the biz.
I want want of those Yankee hats with the ear flaps. They should wear them out in Cali
I think the ghosts moved to the new stadium in 2007. Good thing they stuck around til the Yanks moved there!
If i had a sister I’d want her to marry Jerry Hairston Jr, he seems like a good guy.
Gotta have her marry Arod or Jeter, go for the money.
I’d give my sister to anyone on the Yankees.
Thinking about it, maybe not to Posada. I would be uncomfortable everytime I had to shake his hand.
Thinking about it, I would do it if I got his wife in return.
Let’s calm down Clay.
No, I like his gambit. Maybe Laura Posada ends up back on the market. It’s worth the risk.
Epic, epic win.
a-rod = mr october
I love when it’s about unsung guys…and Arod (Mr. Former Goat)
I can’t believe that just fuckin’ happened.
Wow.
I can’t believe that just fuckin’ happened.
And that… is why you fail.
/Yoda’d
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOrq7PNZZmQ (safe)
Was that last play with 2 outs?
No 1 out.
Yup. They were trying to turn the DP, those poor, greedy bastards.
Two of the best middle infielders in the game, those guys.
BWAAAHAHAHAHA…love it
1 out
No, one out, the bunt by Gardner. They walked Cano
wow…..Izturis is getting fitted for the goat horns as we speak. What a horrible decision there.
It’s all good now, but boy Hairston took a huge risk going for home. If Figgins picks that ball up cleanly, he’s got Hairston at the plate easily.
Audaces fortuna iuvat
“Remember what Fredrick the Great said. “L’audace, l’audace…..toujours l’audance”
Hot diggity damn, what a roller coaster
yah, what he said. something about the audacity of luck…
I want Hairston re-signed.
Seconded. (Although Hinske may ultimately be the harder to replace of the two…)
Pena basically duplicates Hairston. Only one of Hinske/Hairston will be back, and though what you said about J-Hair is true, I think he’ll probably be back. Though, right now, Hairston is a Type B–might as well offer him arb.
You know what? Hairston is actually, IMO, a pretty good ceiling comp. for Pena, no?
Can he really be that good of a hitter?
Hairston is twice the hitter Pena could ever dream of being. Let’s not get silly here.
*walks away with sad trombone playing*
HUGE win. Tough to lose a game like this and recover.
+1
LMAO @ Michael Kay with that hat.
The berret.
beret.
Man, shut the fuck up.
Total sarcasm.
hahaha, I know dude, I was gonna include a snark to negate my douchiness but hit send by accident.
JERK!
hahaha. It would have been funnier if you just left it!
Is that like a slanket–half beret/half ferret?
Saw that. Totally caught me off guard.
Props to him for a good postgame interview which is rare these days.
Nuff said

i like girardi and have never had a problem with his moves but those two moves were puzzling.
Who now thinks that they should have pulled CC last night?
Not at all.
Those were basically short stress innings. 10 or 15 pitches wouldn’t have mattered a lot.
Unless…that was a rhetorical question that I failed…
I should sleep soon.
I know. Just making the point that it was the right move especially after tonight.
Joe Girardi genius.
Honestly, that is the best statement all night!
It is so true. We use any of those guys yesterday and we are really in a jam.
Poor Mo has put in a lot of innings though
Really? Joba, Coke or Hughes couldn’t have thrown their 9 pitches with a day off tomorrow if they had also thrown an inning yesterday?
Umpires, great managers, and well coached teams are just consistently making critical routine mistakes against us. Then we just capitalize from it.
we’re in their head
Everyone cashman got this past offseason is paying off..
the holy trinity: Mo, Jeter, and A-Rod
I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!!
Scoiscia on the post game. He’s “encouraged.” Good, we are too.
The most bizarre move of the night was Scoiscia hitting Gary Matthews for Mike Napoli. I don’t get the logic of that one at ALL.
That’s weird
Pitching to ARod in the 9th was downright moronic
Understatement of the night.
True, although there’s no way of knowing if that’s on Scoiscia or whether Fuentes didn’t follow instructions
Serious question – What has happened to Vlad? I mean I am sure he is still a great hitter but he has looked old out there…
Delino DeShields came into the barber shop the other day, and I said “Delino, how old is Vladimir Guerrero?” He said, “Vladimir is 75 years old.”
Andy, you crack me up man.
YANKEES BABY, THEY CANNOT BE STOP BITCHES!!!!
HORSED IT
Fuck the Angels, 2-0, word the fuck up
I really don’t see how the yankees don’t go all the way. Momentum is really pushing them to sweep. They never find a way to lose.
Also, Joe Saunders is straight up not good. This game should have been won in 9.
/been consuming alcoholic beverages
Not sure why this matters, but do the Yankees fly out tonight, or do they go back home, and fly out later?
Never mind. Girardi just answered it on the post-game show when he said “he’d sleep well on the plane.”
I think they’ll sleep home tonight. leave midday tomorrow.
Who’s this dickbag criticizing Girardi on Fox 5?
Fuckoff.
what’s he whining about?
Girardi overmanaged the bullpen, handed the game to the Angels.
Handed the game to the Angels? Someone forgot to the clue in the Angels.
Alright, all, I’m out for the night. I hope you all enjoy it and I hope you’ve learned to never, ever doubt the Yankees.
Ever. Best team alive, brothers and sisters. Giants amongst men.
Giants are also Giants among men, but that’s for tomorrow’s football thread
Normal sized people amongst Pedroia.
and Rosenthal.
No question Tommie. This team cannot be stop. Ca’t Stop, won’t Stop.
I love that this blog is now littered with spillover threads. Wow. Best team, best fans. What a night.
This has to be a record for open threads.
*Spillover. I’m tired.
Loling so hard. Fundamental ball club, huh?
What a joke.
Just like the Twinkies. How Cliche.
Michael Kay with the beret.
Just really fucking awesome.
I hate ESPN. The poll on ESPN>MLB is
Which would ultimately have a bigger impact on Alex Rodriguez’s legacy?
A) Admission of performance-enhancing drugs
B) World Series Title and postseason success
In case anybody forgot. At least Arod admitted to it.
Douche bags.
BTW,
“B)” should be 4 World Series titles. Cause that’s what coming.
Hey Jerry too bad Andy still hates you for ruining his perfecto.
Heh.
I still think Andy’s gonna get a no hitter before he retires.
Mariano is still the greatest. 2 1/3 innings? Whoa.
Prob about 30 pitches too.Unbelievable.
Just think a year ago we were arguing about how clutch A-Rod was or wasn’t.
WOW
So, wait…is he “clutch” now, and all that other stuff just didn’t happen?
Yes, the other stuff happen and now he has proven that he can hit when its most needed.
Are you sure he hasn’t just proven what we already knew…that he’s a really good hitter, and judging him on 75 ABs spread over 3 years was absurd in the first place?
Shhhhh!! Sports-radio talk-show hosts don’t like that line of thinking.
Whatever the stereotype was there now it’s gone. I’m happy for the guy.
Yeah. I texted my friend with “A-Rod = clutch god?” after that bomb. Whoa.
Has Coney called Joe Saunders “Tony” Saunders twice? Or am I just wasted, tired and hearing things?
It’s ok. Saunders is not a good pitcher, so you don’t have to get his name right.
He sure did call him “Tony”.
no, that happened.
Maybe confusing him with this guy?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Saunders
Definitely. Coney is always on top of his game and that’s surely a reasonable miscue.
Mariano 2 and 1/3 with 25 pitches, 17 of those for strikes.
Awwww. Fat man scoop stopped updating his tweetage.
Sad face
Guys, you updated the wrong Clutch page on Wikipedia.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C....._of_Clutch
Fixed that one for you.
Hahaha nice, it’s all covered now.
Haha, very nice.
That’s funny. Let’s see how long that entry lasts!
Robo on YES
I think players can be viewed as different players for each different season they play. The 2007 and 2009 version of ARod is clutch.
Yezzir.
SSS are a cruel bitch. Al regressing to his mean is simply him hitting everything out of the stadium.
What a game! I love this team!
Later all, Yanks won’t be stopped!
Also, thank you Mike Scoiscia for pitching to Alex.
Idiot.
+1. Dude shouldn’t have seen a strike the whole AB.
Yeah, but J-Hair would’ve PH for Fast Freddy… and we all know that J-Hair would’ve come through.
This team is unreal.
I busted my ass in the gym before the game and easily had a better workout pacing and screaming watching this. I’m gonna have a good sleep tonight.
Did the same – decided to combine deadlifts and squats – I still was way too wound up tonight
Peace out, folks
Man. David Robertson is slowly becoming one of my favorite Yanks behind Melk and Al. This interview is funny. He seems chill as hell.
He’s definitely not used to being interviewed.
Willing to bet his wife is extremely attractive.
Time to go to bed.
Yanks just ruined Joe Buck’s week.
Good.
Joe Buck is a joyless sack of crap who only has a job because of who his father is.
Fuck.
Good, now only if I could take a piss on his cheerios.
How many walkoffs did the yanks have this season? Is that a record for a season?
17 including the postseason
the angels can rot
i cannot wait to be done with them
the clinching victories have to be the hardest on earth to get
Yo I thought they kind of had to pitch to Alex in the 9th.
Thoughts?
Walking the lead-off batter in a 1 run game would’ve been HIGHLY questionable. Fuentes needed to make a better 0-2 pitch, that’s it.
Fuentes gave up 1 SB this year, and 1 CS.
14 SB, 10 CS for his 9 year career.
So I wouldnt label him as easy to steal off of.
K.
You don’t need to be sarcastic.
I’m not Kelleher with a stop watch but Fuentes s not quick to the plate.
When you walk Alex and have Guzman and Brett due up behind him, Alex would have gone. As you yourself guessed, chances are he makes it(60%). Mathis only throws out 26% of runners.
He’s not quick, but he has that hesitation so the runner has to wait and cant go on first movement
I’d take my chances with Arod having to steal and Guz/Gardner vs Fuentes vs.letting Arod hit a dinger.
If that makes sense.
Basically I’d walk Arod then make him steal then make Guz lay down a good bunt then make Gardy get a hit of Fuentes. Letting Arod swing the bat was retarded.
Yeah I got you. A lot of things would have had to go right for us to tie it if they walked Al.
I’m not saying you put him on, but you CERTAINLY don’t throw him anything good to hit. And then, once the ump gives you those two pitches out of the zone, you CAN’T throw anything even NEAR that close.
Thoughts? Chicks dig the long ball.
*Kelley’s.
(Damn it)
What a win! This team is magic right now. I feel as though I’m in the late 90′s again, and it’s a beautiful thing!
2-0! The bullpen deserves all the praise. Tremendous job by Cash giving Girardi power pitching option after power pitching option.
Now, someone needs to poison that damn Rally Monkey before Game 3…
