The Cowboys haven’t won a playoff game since before Bill Clinton asked what the definition of “is” is.
The Cowboys haven’t won a playoff game since the Yanks went 125-50
The Cowboys haven’t won a playoff game during the entirety of Pete Carroll’s collegiate coaching career.
The computer game Quake was less than 6 months old when the Cowboys last won a playoff game.
The Arizona Diamondbacks and Tampa Bay Devil Rays didn’t yet exist the last time the Cowboys won a playoff game.
I like this reminiscence. I played a lot of Quake in high school.
Let’s hope it continues.
From Shayne Graham’s Wiki page:
“On January 9, 2010, Graham attempted suicide but he couldnt kick the chair.”
On a related note, WTF is wrong with Artie Lang?
Yea, he stabbed himself NINE times? Crazy people in this world
I’m not sure, but his appearance on the first episode of Joe Buck Live was one of the greatest moments in the history of television.

NoMaas continues to mock the Red Sox better than anybody else.
That was great.
Seriously, though, you know the Sox are desperate for success when they actually have TWO black players at the same time.
This is the blackest that town has been since the height of New Edition’s fame.
Is there a less likable group of people than Eagles fans? Blurst people.

Yeah, Cowboy fans.
TOKYO – Tsutomu Yamaguchi, the only person officially recognized as a survivor of both the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings at the end of World War II, has died at age 93.
Yamaguchi was in Hiroshima on a business trip for his shipbuilding company on Aug. 6, 1945, when a U.S. B-29 dropped an atomic bomb on the city. He suffered serious burns to his upper body and spent the night in the city.
He then returned to his hometown of Nagasaki, about 300 kilometers (190 miles) to the southwest, which suffered a second U.S. atomic bomb attack three days later.

I’m not sure if the luckiest, or unluckiest man who ever lived.
Wow. That’s so absurd it sounds like the lead in to a parody — if only his death was related to Godzilla.
Within the blast zone both times, survived both times, and died of relatively normal causes 60+ years later.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/new.....guchi.html
If you haven’t seen the details of his story, it’s incredible. The only reason he survived the 2nd blast was due to a steel staircase directly in the way of the bomb blast. The rest of the building he was in was destroyed, along with anyone further than 10-20 feet away from him.
There’s actually a funny part to this. When he showed up at work in Nagasaki (heavily bandaged due to his burns) his boss didn’t believe him. News of the Hiroshima bomb hadn’t traveled to Nagasaki (1945 Japan did not have a free press) and so his Boss thought the whole story sounded ridiculous and far fetched. He was yelling at him for missing work for the past few days and telling him he didn’t believe his story, just as the 2nd bomb landed and ripped their building to shreds.
i read that James Cameron visited him about possibly making a movie on the bombings
Ben Stiller beat him to it though.
Gervais is a genius:
Gervais is the reason Winslet has an Oscar, no doubt.

Ha. I thought I would see some massive hatefest on his bio.
Anyone else want the Eagles to win, just so Philadelphia can face New York in a championship again and lose?
I want the Eagles to win because I fucking hate the Cowboys.
This.
No way the Jets beat anybody coming out of NFC
O/U
Vick touches the ball 4 times.
I go over.
I’ll take the push.
They give up after all four times don’t work.
Hairston in serious talks with the Yanks? I like.
The Yankees are in serious talks with free agent utility man Jerry Hairston Jr., according to a tweet by ESPN’s Chris Singleton. New York has “serious interest” in Hairston, and would use him to spell Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez, as well as possibility platoon in left.
So would landing Hairston mean no Reed Johnson?
I’d think so, unless we work out a deal with the Dodgers to be able to option Hoffmann to the minors.
$500,000 should look awful appealing to the McCourt’s right about now.
We should send Nick Swisher to go have sex with Jamie McCourt, then trade the video evidence to Frank McCourt for the rights to Hoffmann.
Proving, once again, that Nick Swisher can kill two stones with one bird.
Nick Swisher can crush two stones with one bird.
Not necessarily. They could roll with a bench of Cervelli, Hairston, Hoffmann, Johnson and keep Pena/Russo in SWB to start the year.
Perhaps.
I think Peña’s a Girardi favorite, though. He may ask Cash to get Hoffmann off his 25-man roster (either via trade or via straight return) in order to keep Peña around.
Hmm, I hope Cash feels differently. Hariston may not play as good on D as Pena, but he’s a much better hitter and he can play the OF as well. Hairston’s ability to play the OF makes the bench pretty flexible, though having just one guy (also Hairston) who can also play the IF is troublesome.
Hypothetical, if Hoffmann totally shits the bed during ST, what happens?
I imagine he’d be returned post haste.
Excellent use of “post haste,” TSJC.
Its an interesting choice of an OF reserve spot that would’ve been spent better on a superior offensive player.
My guess is they’d still take on Johnson, though this prob makes it less likely
Is there anyway for both teams to lose?
That’s what my neighbor said during the World Series. He is a Met fan.
I find the inferiority complex of Mets fans when it comes to the Yankees very amusing. There really is no reason for them to hate the Yankees.
Yeah it makes no sense, maybe because I don’t know many Met fans, but I’d have no problem supporting the Mets in the WS
Yep. If they were playing anyone but the Yankees, I’d root for the Mets.
Unless it was the Angels, Sox or Rays I’d always root for the American League team. Fuck the Mutts.
Sadly, he was disappointed. Luckily for him, he’s used to it by now.
I wish.
I think the winner of this game is the NFC representative to the SuperBowl. These are the two best teams in the conference, better than both of the bye teams (Saints and Vikings).
Before these playoffs are said and done, I would love to see the Vikings play the Packers one more time this year.
Root for Philly, then. They’re the 6 seed, and New Orleans is the 1. If Philly and Green Bay both win, the Packers and Vikings play next week.
Then, more Mike Vick please.
You were saying?
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.
Love me some Mike Vick.
Vick may have just bought himself a new job next year with that one play.
My how the turntables have…
/Office’d
The prodig…progid…my son returns.
Mmmmmm… that’s not a INT.
Mmmmmm…I just burned my tongue.
Two small comments, Mr. White:
1.) You left USC early to go to the draft. I’m not saying you were wrong for doing that, but keep that in mind when you talk about Pete Carroll not being “loyal” or not “putting the Trojans first”. That’s all I’m saying.
2.) It’s gonna be funny when the Titans cut you in the offseason and you go to the Seattle Seahawks–who should be in the market for FA runningback depth, mind you–looking for a job.

This game is getting very uninteresting very quickly.
Not liking where this is going.
Game… blouses.
Yeah, I think I may turn this off soon.
The Knicks are up on the Rockets a minute before the half, 55-42. On the road, no less.
I’m very aroused.
It is amazing how awful McNabb and Eagles play against Cowboys but play great against Giants while Giants beat Cowboys twice
The Eagles are just a barrel full of fail tonight.
I’m proud of you, Matt.
You kept your head on a swivel, and that’s what you’ve gotta do when you’re in the middle of a vicious cockfight.
Yeah. There were horses and a man on fire and I killed a guy with a trident.
I saw that!
Matt killed a guy!
Tommie, I think I ate your chocolate squirrel.
Example #2 why Fullbacks should just block.

rough night so far. My goodness.
KNICKS BABY!
Dats da only good thing lol.
Suck it, Ivan.
A little early, but congratulations on the win, mr. Pop.
Tina Cervasio: butterface.
Anyone else catch George W. Bush in Jerry Jone’s box?
Yup, I caught that. Was he there the whole time?
Yup. Looking like giant tools in the way only rich old white dudes can do.
Michaels pointed it out in the first quarter.
I tune out the announcers. It is a force of habit from the 2009 Baseball Playoffs.
Ah OK.
Well, this game is a giant clusterfuck for the Eagles.
Meh, why can’t they both just lose..
Last 3 games in MLB 09: The Show: 10 for 11, 2 HR, 3 2B, 3B, 2 BB, 9 RBI. Maybe I should turn up the difficulty again.
eat this
RTTS Center Fielder LAA:
106 game hit streak
.534 AVG
23 HR
142 RBI
yeah, i have no life.
I’m a center fielder for the Rangers. I’m at a 45-game hit streak right now with 15 HRs and 51 RBIs
I would actually rather root for the Boston area Patriots to beat the Cowboys in the Super Bowl should such a nightmare scenario come to pass.
Agreed. I’m a Jet fan but I hate the Cowboys more than anybody else.
Learn to keep hating.
How bout dem Cowboys?
I thought it was funny for the NY press to opine during the pre-season that the Giants had the best running game in the NFL in Jacobs and Bradshaw.
This is the Felix Jones we have been waiting for, now fully healthy, along with Marion Barber and Tashard Choice Dallas has a decent tandem.
