2010 RAB Fantasy Baseball League (Part III)
ByThere was such overwhelming interest in our fantasy baseball league when we posted it last week that we ended up creating a second league just to get everyone in. As it turns out, two leagues aren’t enough, so we went ahead and created a third. The setting are exactly the same as the original league (click here to see them), except that the maximum number of moves per week has been set at eight. If you want to join the third league, go to Yahoo! and sign up using this info:
League ID#: 396057
Password: MoRo
Remember, please join only if you’re serious. It’s a deep league (20 teams), so it’ll require more than a little effort if you want to contend.

I almost feel bad that i’m in the first league
60 fantasy baseball teams off of RAB, impressive.
Jesus 20 teams. Where is the fantasy league? Yahoo, ESPN?
Yahoo

Thank god, thought I was going to miss out on it…
Awesome!!! OPS and QS FTW!!!
Dang, 25 min after the post and I just got home and I think I managed to snag the last spot.
Love the leagues, looking forward to competing against fellow RAB readers.
I happen to like Rotisserie better than head-to-head. I have yet to play in a head to head league. Do most people prefer head to head? Why is it better? Is there a different strategy or drafting strategy to it? (I am just curious. I am looking forward to playing in a head to head league this year.)
I’m not an expert at either, but I’ve played both, and H2H is more like catching players on a streak since your W-L for a matchup only counts stats for a week. You definitely have to set your lineup every day.
I prefer H2H. I think it’s fun competing against someone every week, and you definitely have to pay attention to your team and stats during the week.
Haha, I was in the shower and I walked out, got dressed, hit checked this site and freaked out. Was able to grab a spot.
*checked* not hit checked haha.
Next year we should just have two 30 team leagues.
A 30-team fantasy league would be the shizz.
dude imagine the problems at catcher
You say “problems”, I say “realistic creation of position scarcity forcing increased strategic team building game situations and ultimately more enjoyment”.
Without fail, the deeper fantasy leagues I’ve been in were both harder and more frustrating but also way more fun in the long run. A super-deep league would be the shiznit, and would be like an RAB signature.
The more I think about it, the more I want to not wait and just restart this year with two 30-team divisions.
its certainly an idea
Full.
Part 4 por favor?
Mike – as it’s already full, a 4th league a possibility?
Wow it’s full. I’ve been late to both post!
4th league?
heh…i think the 4th league would be full of people who are always at work!
but yeah, sign me up for 4 or put me on the dropout roster!
I am in for a 4th league, I always miss this by a few moments.
If someone is willing to be the commissioner of a 4th league, email me.
I wish there’d be a 4th league as well. Damn work has to be insanely busy! I hope someone steps up to be a commish.
4th League ? I’m in.
If there’s a 4th league I’ll do it too
Hoping for the 4th league to come true!
I, too, am in if there is a 4th league
