CC Sabathia has played the role of stopper before, many times for the Yankees. In his two-and-a-half years in New York, Sabathia has started 34 games following a Yankees’ loss, and he’s helped his team to a win 23 times. That’s a pretty good way to stop a losing streak before it even starts.
