Yankees unlikely to make any trades this month
ByVia Dan Barbarisi, Brian Cashman said the Yankees are not expected to make any kind of waiver trade this month. “What you see is what you’re gonna get,” said the GM. If the Yankees were to make a trade through the waiver process, they’d have to do so before September 1st for the new player(s) to be eligible for the postseason roster. It’s not often that what the Yankees’ need, a legitimate number two starter, hit the waiver trade market anyway.

They will acquire Jesus Montero from the SWB Yankees.
Who actually just hit a homerun a few minutes ago…
They’re also going to acquire this third basemen from the SWB Yankees. His name is Alex Rodriguez. He’s pretty good.
Montero will be a nice callup for the Yanks.
Hopefully CC stops pitching like shit otherwise we’re screwed.
Sure troll
The one guy that I think is out and can be beneficial is Jake Peavy. He’s an injury risk but he has the ability to pitch as a number 2 and would prevent the Yanks from seeking another big name starter this winter allowing them to have more money and not be as tied up setting themselves up for the 2012 FA market. As helpful as CJ Wilson is, i would rather a one year commitment with an injured Peavy cause I really believe that there will be big pitchers available that didn’t get extended.
Tex is stinkin it up too. 5 for his last 36.
