All Double-A Trenton home games now streamed online
ByThe Double-A Trenton Thunder have announced that all home games this season will be streamed live on MiLB.tv. The season package is only $40 and includes all levels, so you’ll also be able to see select Triple-A, High-A, and Low-A games as well. In fact, all four games of Low-A Charleston’s series with Lexington this week will be broadcast live, and that’s a team worth watching. The Yankees don’t have a ton of prospects at Double-A right now — Brett Marshall, David Adams, and Zoilo Almonte are the next of the bunch — but you will be able to catch Andy Pettitte‘s rehab start this Wednesday. Hooray for that.

Does this work on the iPad? I’d love to watch the Yanks on my HDTV and the baby Yanks on my ipad.
Yes it does. If you go to their website you can watch a demo if you want to check it out.
Maybe I missed something, but I was under the impression that it uses flash to play the video… hence, no ipad functionality. That’s what I saw when I tried last week.
I just went and watched the demo again on their site. It works on my iPad. I’m going to subscribe for a month tomorrow and watch these Charleston games and Andy’s start on Wednesday with Trenton. Those five games alone should make it worth the ten bucks.
From the MiLB site:
Q. What capabilities do I need on my phone and other devices to run MiLB video or audio products?
A. MiLB.TV and Gameday audio are not currently available for mobile devices. Some audio broadcasts may be available through the mobile sites of individual teams’ audio hosts.
I actually called them today. Even though I can watch their demo on my iPad they say it will not stream the live games. So I’m going to scrap the idea for now. Sorry for any confusion. If you need it to work on an iPad or other mobile device, it’s not there yet apparently.
Subscribers to MLB.TV can get Milb.TV at half price. You may have to call them at 866-644-2687.
Heh, arguably our least exciting milb affiliate. It is a step in the right direction, however.
I’d pay $10 for low A only on my iPad.
If I pay for more sports to watch I think the wife will lock me out. LOL
