I as reading the articles from CBS Eye On Baseball that discussed the all time season best players on the MLB teams. The article on the New York Yankees had one inconsistency, as did the one on the Baltimore Orioles. The Yankees did not begin in 1901. The team was the Baltimore Orioles. In 1902, and some say 1903, the team moved to New York and became the Highlanders, and later was called the Yankees.

It would be great to see this information published when referencing other teams, since the Yankees and Orioles have already been done.

It would be great to send this information to Dayn Perry, who wrote the article on the Baltimore Orioles, in which it was said that the team started as the St. Louis Browns. That was the 2nd incarnation of the Orioles, as noted in my previous message.
