Joba allows two singles in first minor league rehab game

May 14, 2013 by Mike 8 Comments

Game 39: Granderson returns
Cabral officially begins minor league rehab assignment

In his first rehab game with Triple-A Scranton, Joba Chamberlain allowed two ground ball singles in a scoreless inning of work. He got a ground ball to second, a fly out to left, and a fly out to right while throwing nine of 12 pitches for strikes. Depending how Joba and his strained right oblique feel tomorrow, he could be activated off the DL as soon as Thursday.
