Yankees offering free tickets following last night’s bobblehead fiasco

By

The Yankees are offering free tickets to anyone who attended last night’s Mariano Rivera bobblehead giveaway following the voucher/long line fiasco. You can get a free ticket to any home game next season except Opening Day and Old Timers’ Day. All of the info is here. There’s also info in there about redeeming your voucher if you never bothered to pick up the bobblehead. Good job by the Yankees, though I’m not sure inviting people to see the 2014 team is much of a reward (zing!).

If Steinbrenner was alive some one’s bobblehead would role

They’ve already started giving away tickets to next year’s games. They won’t do a damn thing to get better next season.

They’ll do more to improve the team next season than you will to raise your troll game next season.

Maybe those without a voucher get 2 free tickets (rim shot). Sorry it was there I had to use it. I still am hopeful things will sort themselves out this offseason

Speaking of Mo, and I don’t know if this has been posted yet (I assume so), but this is going away too far I think:

        Yeah, that’s just dumb.

How many Hard Rocks are even left?

            Huge one.

    Best they could do.

Wow, usually when they do those free ticket giveaway things the caveat is no premium games, meaning no OTD, Opening Day, Boston, Mets or a premiere NL matchup. Guess they’re anticipating another attendance dropoff.
