Thursday Night Open Thread

Very sad news to pass along. Last night a massive fire ripped through one of those huge apartment complexes in Edgewater, NJ, and John Sterling’s home was destroyed. “I won’t have anything left … I’ll have to start over, as they say,” said a surprisingly upbeat Sterling to the NY Post. Hundreds of people were displaced and thankfully there were no serious injuries. I know this is a Yankees blog and we’re thinking about the memorabilia he lost, but, more importantly, that was Sterling’s home and I’m sure it was full of family memories he’ll never be able to replace. Let’s all keep him and his family in our thoughts.
