In a piece that notes the $200,000 Dodger fans have spent on Manny merchandise in the past week, Deadspin scribe Rick Chandler reports that Torre would like to see Manny cut his trademark dreadlocks. Oh, Joe. When will you ever learn?

Apparently Torre made some other player cut his hair, and he doesn’t want a double stanadard.

Supposedly Torre asked him right after the trade, and he said he would. Now I absolutely love Manny sticking it to the old geezer. Better that the Dodgers are going to start selling Manny wigs with hats attached. So now I love how they’re not paying Manny a salary and making mucho merchandising dough. Good times!
Wow, those dreadlocks are really hurting the team chemistry and Manny’s performance. They represent the thuggery of the rap music. Damn that rap music!
